Tharu Doors
Hand carved pair of doors, hardwood, Tharu people, Tarai region of southern Nepal. Most likely house or long house doors, they are intricately carved in a series of panels surrounded by a floral border, displaying scenes of everyday life. Excellent condition, early 20th century.
