A rigid armlet made from wood, gum, sinew and dyed mithun (bull's hair). Worn over the elbow by Naga men during ceremonies and festivals. While this contemporary piece is sturdy in construction and definitely wearable, it would also look beautiful framed or mounted on a stand. We have two matching armlets, to be bought separately or as a pair. From Nagaland, eastern india.
Measurements: Total length 39 cm, inside diameter of armlet 7 cm
