An unusual shrine or miniature temple, created for personal worship. Wood, gesso and pigment, central section with a shelf at back and five miniature Buddhas all displaying Witness mudra, two prayer wheels at the front displaying Om mantra. Newari workmanship, frrom Tibet, early to mid 20th Century.
